Privacy Policy

Layoffs Pulse publishes official U.S. layoff notices, which are public government records. This policy covers the small amount of data we collect from running the site.

What we collect

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are, and what devices they use. This data is aggregated and never tied to your name.
• Alert subscriptions. If you sign up for layoff alerts, we store your email address and what you subscribed to (an employer, a state, or a search). Nothing else.

We have no accounts, no passwords, and no profiles. Browsing the site requires nothing from you.

How we use your email

Your email is used only to confirm your subscription and to send the layoff alerts you asked for. Every alert email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is immediate. We never sell email addresses or share them with third parties, except the email delivery provider needed to send the messages.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works fine without them.

Your choices

To unsubscribe from alerts, use the link in any alert email. To ask what data we hold about you, or to have it deleted, reach us through the Contact page.
